My name is Linda.I
am 36 years old.I am from Ireland. When l was a little girl, l was too naughty,
too stubborn.I was acting like a tomboy.
I have a brother and l think l was impressed by him.The boys of our
neighbourhood used to play football and
l was the only girl who played with them and l also should add that l was the
goalkeeper but unfortunately it did not last so long because one day the ball
hit my face instead of getting into the goal post and since that day I have
been avoiding balls. Anyway, l remember the time when l started my school.I was
7 and so excited that l could not sleep the previous night and l really want to say 'Thanks God! That
excitement always stayed with me.' but l
can't. It is because after some years l found myself studying for the exams and
l figured out that they haven't got an end.I studied for highschool exam.l got
what l wanted ,l was there but it didn't change anything, l had to study again.
Then, l told myself 'Let's have a break! You did this before.' but one of my tachers
didn't let me do that and reminded me who l am then l went back my colorful
life and after four years l finished my highschool with a high degree then l
went to collage. Collage life was fun with tests, homeworks again and finally l
graduated from there as an archeologist. And the best part of my life started. As
soon as l did my master degree, l went to Egypt for my doctorate study.I needed
to search the Pharaoh Seti ll,the fifth ruler of the nineteenth dynesty of
Egypt.Therefor, l went to the valley of Kings and there l did many archeological
excavation then finally l got the information for my doctoral thesis but l
didn't want to go back since Egypt was
the place that l belong to even though l couldn't eat their food so l went back
and later l got an interesting job offer. In Egypt, there was a private course
offering native English speakers to teach and I said yes without a second
thought.I thought that l could do two jobs at the same time and went back
there. It was really fun with being around children and teaching them was
amazing and after the course sometimes they came with me to help when l was
digging.I spent six years there and
later l went on only being English teacher because l noticed that l love
children more than mummies but l have never quited archeology,l went on as a
hobby. Now l am in Turkey and still teaching ,and l love it actually l adore it!
THANK YOU
